Job description & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage database server for support day-to-day operation
- Research for new technology in Database Performance tuning database server, system & query
- Deliver database server for a new project or enhance old server
- Assist the operation & developer team in supporting their project
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- Should have 3 years of experience in RDBMS and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, Postgres, and MongoDB on Linux Platform.
- Skilled in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, Performance Monitoring, SQL Profiler, automated backup and recovery, and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent in SQL Development such as SQL programming and design (such as, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints, stored-procedure, and cubes).
- Experience working with Public Cloud Platforms and Services (i.e GCP, AliCloud)
- Knowledge of Terraform, ansible, and CI/CD will be huge plus
- Knowledge of Containerization and Orchestration (i..e Docker, Kubernetes) will be added advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, in critical situations under pressure as well as in day-to-day operations.
- Passionate of Hot Technologies
- Having a good attitude, and responsible can work on multiple projects and am an excellent team player
- Good time management, self-starter, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
