Job Description: 

  • Play a key role in influencing the strategic direction for the digital business. 
  • Responsible for monitoring and interpreting click path and purchase data to identify and provide actionable recommendations to improve customer experience across digital touch points. 
  • Implement analytics tracking tags leveraging on tag management tools. 
  • Collaborate with our marketing teams, web developers, operations and product owners to ensure they have a clear picture of how users are engaging with our platform. 
  • Responsible for generating recurring reports and fulfill ad-hoc analyses designed to monitor the digital user experience and answer business questions. 
  • This role is a part of our data scientist team and is responsible for delivering digital analytics and insights. 

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Consolidate, investigate and analyze digital usage analytics to identify trends and create data-driven insights about visitor behavior (e.g. traffic patterns, conversion funnel, navigation behavior, and pathing) 
  • Manage the collection, measurement, reporting, and analysis of web behavioral data across multiple platforms. 
  • Disseminate relevant web analytics data throughout the organization; champion data-driven decision making. 
  • Work closely with multiple teams to help identify data capture opportunities, bridge data gaps, source issues, and data inaccuracies 
  • Define data requirements for projects, identify missing metrics to build KPIs, and work with marketing to implement tagging requirements to ensure proper tracking and reporting of digital data 
  • Deliver actionable data-driven insights to business stakeholders through ongoing reporting, story-telling presentations, as well as daily interactions. 
  • Creation of comprehensive tracking & tagging implementation strategies in partnership with external agencies. 
  • Function as a subject matter expert on utilization of web analytics platform and analyzing web metrics across applicable apps and websites for user insights 
  • Write and maintain technical documentation and requirements related to web and mobile analytics 
  • Stay current with the latest developments with tracking tags and web analytics. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, computer science or degree in any quantitative field, statistics, data science, or mathematics.
  • Relevant experience in the same field will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in data analytics using web analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Matomo, Mixpanel, or Adobe Analytics. 
  • Good understanding of web analytics basics: tags, cookies, variables, data layer. 
  • Experience with cross-channel and cross-domain data analytics. 
  • Experience with dashboard development using BI tools e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Looker 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
